Why Diploma students should not be allowed to have laptops in the Dp room
Introduction
Dp students have started to complain about the idea that we cant us are Laptops in the Dp room. The DP room is not an appropriate place for students to work effectively and should not be a place where laptops are allowed. Instead students can bring there things to the library when they want to work.
Reason 1 -don't work effectively
If students are in the Dp room have too many distraction to many temptions no supervision that can lead to students go on innapropriate websites or maybe listen to music.
Reason 2 - distracting others
When there is a lot of students in one room you know that your not going to work as effectively as you could if you where alone. For example you get stuck in math and are to lazy to go to an teacher and ask for help so you turn around and see what the other students are up to and starting to talk to them.
Reason 3
When the students have internet its there responsibility to not go on any other websites then they are suppose to. If you now go on another website you know that the other students are going to be distracted or maybe going to do the same thing as you.
Concession
Students of course like the idea of having there own room for them self. I feel like they can take care of them self. Don’t need to have a teacher to check on them all the time if they are doing their work or not, just show that they are responsible
Destroy concession with brilliant response which is your final and best reason.
The library is a bigger room than the Diploma room so you can work more effectively if you have more space. It’s also a better and quiet work place. There is always a teacher in the library that can check so no one can make too much noise or help with the things you’re working on.
Conclusion
The library is a better work place it has everything that the Diploma room has. Also teachers are there to help you. The students will get more done in the library then in the Dp room because even if they now don’t go on other websites we know that it will be harder for them to do it in the library then in the Dp room.

Introduction
How Diploma students could create an appropriate environment for laptops in the Dp room. Students from Dp don’t want to go to the library just to go on the internet, instead they want the teacher to trust that you doing the work your supposed to.Dp don’t want to spend all their time in the library when they have their own room. The Dp room makes the whole thing feel more responsible.
Reason 1
Don’t go on website that you’re not supposed to go on. Finish the work in school instead of having to do it at home. Teacher can trust the student that they will work if we don’t do any of this its only are own fault so, why does it matter where we sit. We can go on other website in the library to if we really feel like it.
Reason 2
Take responsibility of your time. Also tell other students to work instead of just sitting there. If they don’t care you can go and tell a teacher or go to the library. When students are talking or putting something on we tell them to turn it off, but if they just go on Facebook or Skype we don’t care because it doesn’t disturb any one that’s their own problem.
Reason 3
If the Diploma student really want to be in the Dp room and the teachers still don’t believe that they will work then they can block the websites that they think the students are going on just to make sure that they will work.
Conclusion
This whole thing is about responsibility and so far we haven’t had the chance to show that we can’t work in there. The teachers have to let the Dp students show that they can
get work done in there. Not assume that the students are doing other stuff and that this is the way to change it.
