Newly Discovered ‘Goldilocks’ Planet Has Potential for Life 2

1 Gliese 581g is the planet that the American astronomers  found. It's 20 000 light years away and is at the perfect spot to create. Because it's in the right distance from it's sun so it's not to worm or to cold.

2 Astronomers Steven Vogt of the University of California and R. Paul Butler of the Carnegie Institution of Washington discovered Gliese 581g.

3 Vogt and Butler found the planet by studying the light from its parent star. The light from the star gets affected by the planets gravity. That's how the saw it.

4 Goldilocks planet, the first planet that is the perfect size and at the right distance to have liquid water on the surface.

5 Scientists think the surface temperature on Gliese 581g is similar to the temperature of the Antarctic, around 20 degrees during the sommer.

6 If Gliese 581 has water it could lead to chemical reactions necessary for protein and bacteria to envolve into more complex life.  Everywhere you have water you have life

7 Voyager is traveling at a speed of about 39,000 miles per hour, so it would need more than 300,000 years to travel that far.
